Either God is Logical, in which your sentence makes no sense because God is a completely contradictory concept (wholely good and wholely evil, doing everything and doing nothing, completely contradictory in every way which makes him ultimately neutral).

Or God is illogical, in which case your sentence makes no sense because he is beyond your comprehension.

If I come off poorly, that is not my intention, but I would genuinely like to know because I think its something that I am completely missing. It's something that to me makes no sense.
Don't worry about coming off poorly. I do that plenty myself. I love sharing what I know and hearing back from people because it makes me think and refine my own viewpoints.

How do you see God as being both wholy good and wholy evil? The God I serve is wholy good and perfect. He uses evil for his glory and yet the evil does not come from himself. Evil stems from the fact that we have a choice. In order to choose I have to be able to choose between two different things. Without that choice we are like robots who have no choice to do anything but obey.

He's very logical and at the same time illogical. I can't put him into a box and understand him because he's beyond anything I can comprehend. I personally believe that he is the embodiment of unconditional love that steve pavlina is striving towards. Also as I recall even steve believes in a higher power even if he doesn't define it.

For one I see his fingerprint in everything in life. From everything from human beings to the leaves on trees to the atoms and molecules of life.

I also see his affect on my life. I seek after truth and day after day I learn even more things about both him and truth in general. As I see it there is no chance in this world and everything that happens has a reason. I look for the reason and find the value in everything that happens to me.

A few specific examples I can list is my current job. I had a choice between two separate companies and I was lead to my current job. The opportunities for growth that I've had this company greatly outweigh the ones that I would have likely had at HP due to the environment. Another example is I was looking for a friend's phone number (she destroyed her phone in a bucket of water). One morning I went to one restaurant to grab a bite to eat. The place didn't open till 8:00am (20 minutes from then). I then went to del taco and grabbed breakfast. After that I went to work, parked my car and walked across the street to my work. I heard my name being called, turned around and there was my friend who I was trying to get ahold of. Had I been there 30 seconds sooner or later I would have missed her.

To me the ways that God reveals himself to me are highly subjective. Someone with a fixed view of objectivity could likely explain away every one of my experiences. Yet I seek them out and they happen more and more. They are beyond my control and yet they still happen. If I'm struggling with personal growth he open's my eyes to something new.

Edit: Also I hear the global warming people use this all the time lol. Not saying its a good thing to do I'm just saying that it is something that bears a deeper look.
Like I said. I've taken the deep dive. It's pretty dirty down there.

Think about it. Who was before God ? Did anything exist before God ? I suspect you'll say no. That means that everything in the entire universe is OF GOD. There is no separate entity. It is ALL God. That means Evil is God too.
