Her channeling Abraham: "Oh we all make too much of this. we make too much of being physical, we make too much of that which is non-physical. You came forth to live on the earth to have a glorious experience. in other words, you are born seeking joy, you are born knowing that you are supposed to feel joyful. It gets a little topsy-turvy as you are influenced by others that if it feels good it isn't and if there is suffering and struggle in it there is probably virtue. In other words, you get cross-ways of your emotional guidance system. But that is really what we are wanting you all to discover. We want you to reactivate within yourself your awareness of your own guidance system, so that you can remember who you are and so that you can figure out which way you're headed and which way is the right way. There is not one answer, but there is certainly guidance coming forth from your broader perspective that would let you find the path to that which you are about, which is joy. You didn't all come to live exactly the same lives you see. You came forth to live diversity and difference and to stimulate within one another, variety and desire. You came forth to live in joy, and anything that is a departure from that is off your path. Joseph Campbell, a wonderful teacher, gave you the best words that I think I've ever heard spoken from a human tounge. He said "Follow your bliss"; if you will reach for the thoughts and words and the actions that feel good while you're thinking them or speaking them or doing them then you will be the being that you came forth to be. But what we notice, when we see someone in despair or anger, is sometimes they can't even get a whiff of bliss. So, let our message be: Let bliss be your goal, but if you are in depression, reach for the life-giving relief that anger will give you. Then say to yourself, "I feel better now in my anger than I was in my despair" and then say to yourself "I don't want this anger either. I'm on my way to bliss but bliss is too big of a jump. Maybe I can just find frustration". And reach for the fresh breath of air that frustration will give you. Then, start reaching for some thoughts of irritation, then contentment, and then hope. Say to yourself, "I know I can find a feeling of positive expectation that will give me relief from hope, so after that let's start reaching for some thoughts on joy", and before you know it, you will be on the pathway to who you really are. It's very hard to guide yourself in life on someone else's criteria. And your own criteria is the way you feel. You may have been off the path of joy for so many years, but you are eternal beings who have for so much longer known yourself as joyful beings. So, a little dose of it brings your memory back fast. In conclusion, be easy about all of this. You tend to take life so seriously. Life is supposed to be fun, you know. It is our desire that you return to your state of self-appreciation. You should feel love for your life, for yourself, and most of all, the people of this world. There is great joy here for you, and for now-as always-we remain happily and eternally incomplete." Wow, a big eye opener for me. What do you guys think about it? |

Abraham has a wonderful way of conveying feeling by getting you to focus on something by directing your attention. But then, you'd hope a non-physical being who has that perspective would know how best to "teach" (because from that perspective, the laws of reality seem a bit more clearly defined... the effects seem more instant and palpable and not as vague as in the physical realm... or at least, not bound by what we would call "time", which doesn't exist, but there seems to be a "buffer of creation"). |
