| This post is related to Erin's last article about intuition, ego... But here, I wanted to talk especially about intuition. Erin says you have to learn to listen to it. But...how? I do have some insights from time to time but I would like to know if it is possible to "sharpen" this capacity. And if it is...have you got any clue about how to do it? |

| There is nothing you can do. Intuition is what's left over when you stop over-thinking. You can't learn to use it, you can't learn to listen to it, you can do nothing to sharpen it. In fact, that's why it's so hard to use your intuition; because it's way too easy. You're looking for some long difficult process to chain your intuition down to the lower level of coarse thought. But if you chain a bird, then all you accomplish is preventing it from flying, which is what you wanted it to do in the first place. If you want your intuition to fly, it must be unchained from thought. So how do you stop thought? Well, that's also impossible, because the you that is trying to stop the thought is actually the thought itself. If you confuse yourself with your thoughts, then try to stop thinking, your thoughts are going to have a bit of trouble dismantling themselves. Find a way to separate yourself from your thoughts, and intuition will happen.
