Hi Devon,
this website is for beginners. I've found it quite useful and more detailed than a lot of other tutorials.

Give these folks a shot. Free Learn to Meditate, online meditation - Meditation Australia. There are free exercises and a lot more. You can also join the paid membership if you like. I used the free exercises and liked them a lot.

Deepak Chopra and other meditation experts has some great meditation CDs and audio books athat you may also consult or borrow from local libraries. The internet may be valuable, but its not your only available resource. I encourage you to broaden your exploration.

I bought these guided meditation mp3's from Inner Peace Audio...

I usually have massive problems keeping an empty mind, but these mp3's seemed quite helpful.

I think that exercise is a form of meditation, because when you're exercising, your awareness is on your body, and as a result the mind chatter slows down.
