signals from the universe?

what does it mean if you see/recieve signs of a certain person popping up everywhere? i am thinking about this person a lot, more then i think i should be. we have no relationship anymore, it was a brief couple of weeks where we spent 3 or 4 times together, and then it was done due to situational factors and both of our behaviors. i feel pretty strongly that this person is not thinking of me, or trying to see me (as if he were he would have contatced me). it does not feel right, in terms of what my energy feels like, for me to contact him either. i assumed if our vibrations are matching, then the universe will bring us in contact. my point is, am i seeing signs (his first name is random magazine articles, repeatedly on different occasisons, as well as the fact that i saw these lost tourists on the street and, which i have never done before, ask them what they were looking for and the named the place of our first date) because I am thinking about him so much....or becasue of another reason?

I had this same exact thing happen when i liked this guy,well,i still like him,and i still get those signs,but...i was told that its just the universe mirroring back your throughts. It doesn't mean thats what is meant to be. That was hard for me to grasp,but,i just had to accept it. If you start thinking about another guy,watch,you'll see signs about him too.

Exactly what you said. Just the universe answering what you're asking. Because by putting your thoughts, attention someplace you're telling the Universe that's what I want.

You'll also experience with dreams, where you dream about things that occupied your mind during the day.

Is it possible you're regretting your behaviour so you're thinking about him a lot? (I don't know why I picked that up from your post - sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick).

Yes it could be that you are thinking about him lots, so you are attracting lots of reminders of him, rather than destiny signs.

What's stopping you from contact him. What's the feeling? Is the feeling serving you or holding you back? (Not trying to lead you here one way or the other, it's a genuine question).
