Anybody here read *all* his work to date?

His last seemed rather boring; I couldn't get excited about it.

While I love his books, there are pieces parts that I DO NOT take as gospel, unlike many of his readers. I've had many ahas from his books, and they are excellent.

I even have one of his DVD sets; my sister sent it to me, and I watched it end to end. The thing is, once you are through the calibration part, there is good information, but the 'how' is something that isn't there so much IMHO. For the how, I like ACIM, Tolle, others. . .

Watching the DVD was interesting when it came to the Q&A. People wanted him to tell them what to do specifically with their life. And of course, like any true spiritual teacher, he couldn't. The thing is, your path is your path. No spiritual teacher is going to say to you, do this, you'll make a living at it. And that is really what people wanted; A father figure who would tell them what decisions would be the 'right' decision to make for their lives. Even God won't do that for you; or perhaps God will, but no human guru should be in that space in your life.

I felt for them. It would be great to find a recipe for life that tells you do this, do that, and then this is how it will work out.

I felt it was a good guideline for finding texts to pursue and things to avoid.

For example, I'm attempting to cut out anything "below 200" in my life.

I think fanaticism (by anyone, even Hawkins' fans) calibrates low.
