| Lately I have been thinking about what I am really passionate about in life... I would like to know what fulfilment means...? I find myself doing nothing and I feel I should do something.... But don't know what... I like certain things like sports, martial arts, technology... but finding things I am passionate about is so difficult... what are the signs of me finding my passion...? |

| Muzzinho, These are all very personal questions. It would be difficult for us to tell you what you are passionate about. As far as what to look for and signs go, maybe you might be like me: You see, as far as I am concerned, I do not "express" my emotions as whole-heartedly as some people do. I'm a bit of an introvert, and love quiet moments. But I always thought of "passion" as something that would always make me excited, always happy, always full of energy. But that isn't the case. I am passionate about creativity, however when I do anything creative I am not shouting at the top of my lungs, exclaiming my love for creativity. You can have passion, but the way your passion is expressed may not be how other people express theirs. Maybe you have a more "quiet passion." Also realize that "passion" is not some commodity that you "find," rather it is an emotion that you "bring" to your life. Your interests don't bring you passion - you bring passion to your interests. Start with the the things you stated you are interested in, sports, martial-arts, technology (I love these things as well). Do you actively pursue these interests? If you do, next time you practice, don't wait for passion to come to you, instead put passion into these activities.

| I think a passion is born in you.... sort of like you wake up one day with a normal interest in something but it grows and grows ...... until you are one with your passion it is all you think about , or it is the at the forefront of all you do ......... it is like this passion is your driving force ... |

| My passion is for Psychology and Philosophy, which I believe stems from a desire to understand and optimize my personal effectiveness. So my passion is for all things that help me optimize my personal effectiveness. So when I see something, that could be a new cook book, a new self-help program, a better pen...I feel passionate about it...why? because it can increase my personal effectiveness. You have to find what you are passionate about on a core level, not just gardening, or martial arts or cooking etc...etc... what is the underlying attraction to those things.
