Enlightenment: A Change In Pespective?

Who would we be, what would we be if we took off the glasses that contain all of our oncepts of who and what we are?

It seems to me that this is enlightenment. Taking off, setting aside your beliefs of what you are, and allowing yourself to experience what is left. . . which by all spiritual traditions (and based upon experiences I've had here and there) is sooo much more than can be contained in a concept.

If you look at virtually all spiritual (not religious, but spiritual) traditions, there is something about I AM. The awareness watching awareness technique available for free on the web (also known as the fastest way to enlightenment) basically asks you to set aside your concept glasses, and allow yourself to be awareness watching your awareness. Eckhart Tolle's work to get you into the now, is again focusing on experiencing what is without concepts. I could go on and on.

As I experience an expanded view of myself, in those moments when I am willing to take off the concept and judgment glasses, the memories of past, the visions of the future; and just see, it is such a lovely and expansive experience. From that perspective, I find I need nothing, desire nothing (for I am and have everything), experience myself and all that is as the embodiment of unconditional love; it is true freedom and acceptance. I also find a wellspring of love compassion for myself and for others -- not the drama personas, but their reality behind the persona.

Just wanted to put that out there.
