BEFORE YOU READ: sorry for my fragmented thoughts. I'll try my best to organize this as coherently as possible. Some mornings I hear words in my mind that sometimes I don't even know what they mean, so I just write them down. This morning in particular was a little more annoying than others; I kept hearing words and I kept having to write them down... (I know what they mean now, I looked them up) Quote:

My hypothesis is that (like Erin has mentioned before) is that, like a radio, my "radio" needs to be tuned. Either that or I'm crazy or over-analyzing too much and my subconscious is coming to the foreground. P.S., I recently had my first true lucid dream. I have been vegetarian for about four years (turned vegan since last year). (Not that it matters). I have a lot of questions that need answers, and if these are some beings trying to contact me, I am excited/content that they are. If they are just trying to increase my vocabulary, awesome! P.P.S. I recently came up with an idea on how to distinguish between my thoughts and these apparently incoherent random words/sentences. If the thoughts follow what I am currently thinking about, or are generated by an external stimuli, then, they are my own, but if they come randomly, then they are not. Have any of you had a similar experience? Sincerely, Peace and Love, Roberto

I don't know, you could be channeling entities - But I've only heard voices that weren't me a couple times and that was during meditations not during waking up or around sleep. It didn't need to go through a test to figure out it was someone else /some other being speaking - it was really apparent and actually they may have been saying something I was thinking about as like having a conversation with me. In other words your test of distinguishing "your thoughts"/"not your thoughts" by "following you"/"being random" isn't a good test and probably isn't needed. You would know if it's not you.

As you're coming out of the dream states you could be in contact with other beings, guides, angels, etc who are passing on some ideas or insights to you. I wouldn't ignore it. I would write down what you hear and see what you can discern from it. Trying to connect with them while awake would be good too.

Hypnogogia is a state in which you hallucinate in a semi-awake, semi-dream state. These halucinations may be either physical, visual, or auditory. It is not an uncommon occurance. That being the scientific answer, does not preclude the possibility that you may, as Erin pointed out, be being contacted by Spiritual entities. What Science calls Hypnogogia, many people call Astral Projection, Out of Body Experiences, Journeying, or any number of other things that are just as real as the color blue. "The Schizophrenic is drowning in the waters the Mystic swims in with delight." James Campbell Practice connecting with these Guides in a more alert state; either through meditation or prayer and see if you get anything more clearly. I find that when my guides have something to say, they generally don't mince words or speak in riddles. This experience may just be a nudge from them to get you to recognize them. |

"Old Soul," if you do a Google search for "isosymmetric" you will find some interesting stuff; having something to do with "Isosymmetric structural phase transitions: phenomenology and examples" Phenomenology is: Quote:
Thank you so much to everyone for your reply. I'm still writing down and making a list of words; I don't know why, but at least it's increasing my vocabulary! Really, I don't know what exactly is happening to me, but I'm hoping to have all the questions I have answered during a reading (hopefully) with Erin for next month. I might post how it goes with the reading for those who are interested (that's if she does come down to L.A. area). About four years ago my body started experiencing periodic spasms lasting anywhere from 2sec to 30sec. I went to the doctor and they did MRI, EEG scans, but nothing. I eat healthy, I meditate, and even "clean my chakras" like Erin mentioned in her blog. Erin, I have tried automatic writing but I'm not so sure if it's me who's making the stuff up; I don't know how to distinguish! Again, thank you all for sharing, Sincerely, peace and Love always, Robert. Last edited by zeroone; 02-13-2008 at 10:56 AM.

these types of experiences have absolutely no conscience thought on your part in the sense that you make a choice to write about something .... it is like the piece is already written it chose your body to come through and you are only the medium to write it down, you also may not even comprehend what the piece is about at the time, you may have to get help in understanding what it is about or what it means at least this is how it works with me
