 |  Found gravemarker Priscilla Wife of Daniel Harvey Died Nov. 27, 1866 Aged 57 Yrs. & 7 M. We found this grave marker in our backyard 1 1/2 years ago (we'd just moved into our "new" house.) It was face down under a tangled growth of vines and we thought it was a stepping stone. After prying it up we found that it was a grave marker. None of the local cemetaries I've contacted seem to be missing it and the year of her death, 1866, falls before computer-stored census records - we can find nothing out about Daniel Harvey. Our house was built in the 1950s, so it wasn't originally here. Meanwhile, we've propped her up and planted some lovely siberian irises around her... but I can't help feeling that she really does belong somewhere else. Any suggestions? swansong |

I think you have given her the best anyone could ask for, Great job. However If you decided that just is not somthing you want in your yard. I don't think anyone is going to get mad about just covering it back over for the next hundred years. Freddy |
