 Jed McKenna, enlightenment, and self-development Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with Jed McKenna, who has written Spiritual Enlightenment: The Damnedest Thing and Spiritual Warfare? He takes a very straighforward, clearcut approach the much muddied topic of enlightenment, advising those serious about waking up to "sit down, shut up, and ask yourself 'what's true?' until you know." He resembles U.G. Krishnamurti, the anti-guru, in some ways. I really have been deeply influenced by his books, as they are what I have been unknowingly waiting for my whole life.
