| Can you imagine what it would be like to live in a perfect physical world? Sort of like the movie "Smallville" where you knew exactly what was going to happen minute to minute and nothing ever changed. Sometimes I've thought this would be nice...we all would think the same way, dressed the same, lived in the same type of house, the weather was always perfect (I live in Minnesota so warm would be good NO WAY! How boreing! The differences in people, places, how we think, what we believe are the things that stimulate my mind, helps me to be creative and helps me to grow as an individual. Without these differences we would be living in a place much like "Smallville", or become a "Stepford Wife" (creapy) I love my life!

| Do you mean Pleasantville? Cuz Smallville is where Clark Kent is from.

In just 20 minutes she helped me sort through 4 major areas of my life that I've been struggling with in therapy for more than 8 years! I was stunned. | Duh As anyone who reads this may now realize...I'm not always very good with names of movies. Please replace the word Smallville with Pleasantville in the original post. Other things I do not remember well are names of singers, names of bands, names of students I graduated with...(you get the picture)

| A perfect world would be very boring, monotonous, and full of simplicity, but to make the world a better place, not a perfect place, is probably the way to go. A conscious world is what we should strive for. Whatever you want, you can accomplish. It's all about having the right mindset. Everything begins in the mind and expands into reality. |
| |||
| It depends on your view point of a "perfect world" If your saying that a perfect world would be boring, monotonous. How would that even be perfect to you? To me a perfect world would still be exciting and diverse but without the world hunger and disease and greed and everything else this world is turning into..basically everything in 2 Timothy 3:1-7 |

| I'm not sure we're particularly qualified to define the aspects of a perfect world. Still, if I were to give it a shot, it would be a world where we were all living lives of unbounded joy. A world where contrast was still very much present, for a world without contrast would be a world where forward movement could not occur. Life would have no purpose. For some reason, many people tend to associate the notion of a perfect world with boredom. The mental image I'm getting from that is of a world where we're all drugged into compliance and contentement. But if you think this through, how could that be anywhere near perfect? Why, when thinking universal happiness, must we associate it with losing individual identity? What's wrong with having preferences and being different? Isn't that why we came here in the first place? |

Hey Khristine, what is to go and say that in a perfect world everyone would be exactly the same? Seriously-what a bore. I love the diversity of all the people in this world. There is so much to learn from it all. I don't know about you, but I think we ARE living in a perfect world-depending on the lens you want to see it through! Practice seeing the perfection in all life, and watch as the Universe begins to show it to you! |

| ChampionsChoice - Exactly the point I was trying to make NO WAY! How boreing! The differences in people, places, how we think, what we believe are the things that stimulate my mind, helps me to be creative and helps me to grow as an individual. Without these differences we would be living in a place much like "Smallville", or become a "Stepford Wife" (creapy) With the many differences in opinions here in these forms it made me stop to think how interesting each of us are in our unique way of seeing things, our beliefs...it allows one to think, to learn, and to appreciate.
