For the past few weeks I've been practicing a surrender exercise once or twice a day. And recently I brought that exercise into a lucid dream and had a profound experience. Basically this exercise is a gradual integration of the shadow self through acceptance and forgiveness. In other words I sort through all the negative stuff I've done and had done to me and begin releasing those experiences one by one. It also incorporates memory rewriting for those familiar with that. I get great results from it and am feeling more empowered and less burdened because of it. I entered a lucid dream state the other night and had the urge to repeat the surrender exercise. I didn't have any negative memories to release so I just threw out the intention to surrender. What happened I can only think was total surrender of the ego to spirit. A weight was removed from my head, and I felt BLISS for that part of the dream. I haven't felt that good in my waking life ever. (as far as memory serves me) Has anyone else experienced anything like that, waking or in a dream state?

At first jump, I descended, though before I hit the water I moved my intention to becoming airborne and did so. As I rose like a Phoenix, I figured the best use of my dream state would be to surrender it to God. That I did. Then-- I woke up. | |
