Lightning religion and politicians

The development of religions, is wide spread over the planet, from its humble beginnings as lightning storms, and unconscious dreams amongst Neanderthal man. Its come Along way and brings with it many virtues in its development. War and peace as they say love and hate greed, power and solace. So gods rose from the weather lighting our lives, with many names and many different philosophies to help people along or not may be the case. The idea of God may in some sense once the idea of conscious death became apparent and rituals grew to great heights such as the pharaohs and the Tombs at least keeping people employed. The Spanish inquisition and the Christian crusades and today Muslim suicide bombers fighting consumerism all in the name of Gods. Gods seem to have a place on this world of spiritualism. Where the safety net of death with the eternal after life might just stop a few million people, who don’t quite have a handle on the living bit, stops them from suicide by future shock. Or in some cases actually helps them die. (Paradoxical really)
Religion for all it’s flaws has helped developing societies globally in some cases as some are more realistic and up to date than others moral’s, ethics and commercial land deals for the dead, and some form of guidance for weary travellers in time trying to make sense of it all. They evolved in Lawyers politicians, psychologists laws soldiers nurses and many other facets of society, so it’s not all bad. Where do we go from here as the fight between waiting for god or going into outer space to find him time will tell.
