Leave a message for my reincarnation

I know that one day I'm going to die and leave this world. But I'm also pretty confident that when I'm given the choice, I will choose to return, because I love the world. That being said, I also want to point my life is a focussed direction and live a productive worthwhile life. It would be ok for me to just settle down and devote myself to living a simple. contented life. It would be just as ok for me to choose to do something extraordinary, even if I have to bear instability in my personal life. I'm not making the choice now (I just started college) but I will soon and it seems like it may be the latter. Of course it may be a bit of both, thats fine too. But what I feel is necessary is that I leave a message for myself when I come in again, something to say that this is what I did before and it's time to do something new. Any suggestions? From what I know about reincarnation, it should be possible.

You could start a reincarnation blog, where people could post little signposts for their future selves. Get on Oprah with it. Get everybody to put their "hello, me!" post on there, so that everybody in the future knows about it and just routinely checks in to see who resonates as their past self.

Hmmmm.... good question.... maybe the blog could be organized according to basic personal & geographic criteria, so that when a future self is informed by his/her psychic that his/her former incarnation was his/her mother in the current life and she was eaten by a tiger in Zimbabwe, you could just go to the database and look at:

PastLifeLocatorBlog/female/Africa...Zimbabwe/tigerfood

At least it would narrow it down.

That could be another income producer for the blogger: you could hire psychics to have on hand to help narrow it down! And then, say, you can't decide between multiple women who were eaten by a tiger in Zimbabwe, the in-house psychic could help you pick the right one! Maybe you could charge extra if it takes more psychic power to narrow it down, like if you were shot during a drug deal in New York, or killed by a jealous mate.

This is all assuming, of course, that you decide to reincarnate in temporal space further along the timeline than our current perception of the present (time being a necessary illusion and all)

I don't have any proof of this, but I suspect that the "time" you choose to reincarnate in is as open as the parents, body, and life situation you choose.

Well then, how about a Time Broadcaster, a machine which would probably be easier to build than an actual time machine. You wouldn't have to actually move back and forth in time, you would just create one of those broadcasts like they do in space to see if any extraterrestrials can hear. Except instead of broadcasting our blog into space or the web, we would broadcast into the Spacious Present or Eternal Now. (both of which are taken as domain names, unfortunately, but we could figure out something else. Maybe a whole new .suffix, like .now or .tym or .wen.) So many entrepreneurial possibilities!

Well, that would definitely make things easier. All you have to do is distinguish who you are in your future life and then send a message to her. There should certainly be a focus during your hypnotic state on getting your future email address.

See, now there we go again with the temporal trouble. Your next incarnation may actually incarnate in the "past." However, all seriousness aside... This hypnosis approach makes the most sense.

But here's another question;

If time is an illusion and you can reincarnate at anyplace along the temporal continuum, aren't all of our incarnations essentially existing at the same "moment"? If that's the case, then all we have to do is get all ourselves together, have a little tete -a- tete and we have our answers. Poof... instant nirvana.

Maybe with the way things are going, Erin and people like her making strides in their craft, maybe there will soon be psychics who are so highly skilled that they'll be able to tell you such specifics as your whole name and the city you were born in, from your past lives. What was that movie with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep, where they got to watch videos of their past lives? But they were dead. It would be fun if you could do that while you were still alive.

I guess the other skill the psychic would want to have would be knowing which customers it would be good for to know that stuff, and which ones to beat around the bush to.
