Question what is being aware

What is being aware, that is the question, does being aware mean you’re educated, intuitive, or spiritual. The research done on awareness through qualitative experiments on the variability and differences between those who think they are and those who seek to be shows its paradigm of theoretical confusion itself. Like Foucault philosophy a cloud we can see but never grasp. Is intelligence the key to awareness or is it the psychological development that is important factor. Is introspection and self analyses of cognitive behavioural self development the next step to take in reaching awareness. Do we find it in a literature or do we find it in each other. Is being aware down to intellect or ignorance. When we gain consciousness (another theory) as we grow and understand the concept of death, the rituals of the afterlife, to help us escape our mortality. Is being aware good for you or is it destructive. Is anyone truly aware or are we just aware of what we know and aware in what we do as a past experience. So are only aware of the present and past and aware there is some kind of future.

I admire Dog Awareness. A dog is utterly present, and is totally committed to what's in front of him in the moment, whether it's a juicy bone, the scent of another dog's butt, the beloved face of his master, or something he can chase. Once in awhile, he puts the past into the present, like when he senses a looming trip to the vet. But once the pain is over, it's gone, man. Do you have a treat? Let's play!

I want to live like a dog!

I think being aware is like going from being asleep and waking up, where waking up is more aware. There is a difference in what you can sense while asleep and awake.

Then there is a similar thing when awake. Being more aware while awake can happen and is similar to when we wake up from sleeping. I've felt being more awake in real life at times and it is more like a continuum or spectrum than asleep/awake is - although similar in feeling.

People have said that about me... numerous times,

And I had to think about it... this is what I noticed about myself when operating from awareness , I think you are operating on all cylenders (spiritually, intuitively and intellect is sharpened,) your senses are sharpened, and heightened and you tend to percieve in a bigger picture, although I am operating in the moment, I percieve things through a bigger picture

ironically, i am very introspective, INFJ, love literature, I think being aware can be good and it can be destructive as well....

I was watching my dog Chi chi ( part bull part hound) laying on the deck outside one day, watching her face tilt side to side.. as she watched a Buttefly...and a candy Mojo wrapper twirling in the breeze this is the poem I came up with ( through a dogs eye)

Dogs Eye View

The Butterfly Blew away
Riding a mojo wrapper
Now living on a moonbeam
Conducting a choir
Sung by people with names like:
Stardust and Mysty
She built her case on a whim
laughed the dog
chomping on her bone!!

hehehe!

I believe awareness is not intelligence or knowledge. In my experience, awareness comes through an open mind. It is a new concept to the individual. It is a knowing of something previously unknown. Like a light going on.
