Has anyone heard of Oahspe?

I stumbled onto it today and am finding it very fascinating.

Yes, I have heard of Oahspe, about 50 years ago, and have been studying it extensively ever since. If you google: "Oahspe", you will get many links, but the worst one is oahspe.com. That website is determined to destroy the only book EVER written by God himself. So, in the process of your research into this fantastic book, keep "ever" an open mind.

I noticed that site, oahspe.com. What a mess. It seems like it was just randomly attacking the book rather than being constructive at all, so I didn't read much of it.

Hi Dan.

Yes, I found Oahspe- or perhaps I should say, it rather quietly found me- almost 30-years ago, and I've been reading it off and on ever since.

I had difficulty with the book at first, because it challenged so much of my spiritual training. I know now that training was a major contributor to the problems I was experiencing at the time. I've found Oahspe to be very liberating.

I'll say this about it: none of the material in it has ever in any way harmed me, and it has answered some of the questions I was asking, simply by providing ideas I've never seen of heard expressed anywhere else. In fact, it is the most original modern work I've ever come across.

Even though it's over 150-years old, it's surprising how few seem to know of it, and yet it persists. I'm glad to know of two more who have found it.
