What is worth destroying in this reality? I ask this question as I wish to know if there's an illegitimate reason or purpose for destruction. I could have easily have asked "What is worth loving in this reality", but when I ask "What is worth destroying in this reality?” The question always gets reflected back to me, usually comes in the form of another question “Why do you want to destroy?” So all I ask is of you is your opinions, reasons, and justifications for destruction?

[QUOTE=Mr_A;137600]What is worth destroying in this reality? but when I ask "What is worth destroying in this reality?” The question always gets reflected back to me, usually comes in the form of another question “Why do you want to destroy?” [\QUOTE] Seems like you answered your own question. Every single thing has purpose otherwise it wouldn't exist. Every single thing is made of energy, so therefore cannot be created or destroyed, only changed. People want to rid the world of things (usually bad) but how can you appreciated good without bad?.........you can't. Dex |

To me this seems like a personal question that relates to what people value. When I'm at my best my own answer is that nothing is worth destroying. Or at least, I can't think of anything I want to destroy. Everything has it's place. I guess I'm a lot more interested in creation. When I'm not "at my best" there are many things I want to destroy - social structures, negative emotions, ignorance, disease, stuff like that. But I think approaching these things with destruction is wrong-headed. Don't fight fire with fire, fight fire with water. |

Careful what you wish for I'm with you on "ignorance", "prejudice", and "arrogance", but i think that we all need a bit of "shame" and "pride". The world wouldn't work without these two. Go figure why |

| Actually there is a spoon............but the spoon is you. You can't bend spoons..........but you can bend yourself. The Matrix contains lots of nice references to consciousness and explanation of self without having to wade through all the guru books and ancient mystic verse. In this life we seemingly can't bend spoons, but we can bend and shape much of reality to our will. You can see it everyday, but you're just not noticing it. There are rules (self imposed) you can bend them and even break them, but there are rules. Enjoy! Dex |

Wait, i can bend spoons. Especially the thinner ones. Many bend when i'm trying to get a piece of frozen icecream. They bend very easily |

Tyranny, theocracy. There isn't much you really can destroy without causing a major problem, you stop diseases the population rises beyond control, you stop arrogance and no fights will be won, no deals made, no economy. Its all a balancing act. |

There is no destruction, and, if that is so, then there is no creation. So, there is a just a rearragement, or transmutation, of energy, which is eternal. The perceiver perceives. Whether you interpret what you perceive as creation or destruction, is entirely up to you. And so, it is entirely subjective. |
