Hi - I believe I have a grasp on the concept of SR, but I don't see how Steve made the switch to calling it god consciousness without saying that.. you are god. Which he could say, but that wouldn't help me very much. Saying you are G-D seems to be against my religion at the deepest level.
I am a practicing orthodox Jew (and have no intention of changing that) and well, I can't seem to put my finger on an understand of SR with a G-D in addition to yourself.
I would like some ideas on the topic.

The problem is that we try to understand "you are god" with our mind. The mind will never understand that. Its Gods imagination. We exist because god imagined us into existence. We all are god because we are a part of God Consciousness.

Hmm. I know Judaism has some sort of kabbalistic idea "your soul comes from G-D" but we believe G-D is indivisible, (and you are NOT G-D) so that doesn't really fit. Any other explanations?

So how does SR fit in with that? Does it ONLY include "God as me"?

I think you should take time to read some books on Nonduality and think about what they mean with an open mind. That should help you find all the answers you want.
