Default Does "Ask and it is given" describe our true nature?

Does "Ask and it is given" book explain our true nature with details too or does it describe only "Law of Attraction" like "Secret" book?

It explains it's interpretation of our true nature as extensions of source energy on the leading edge of thought. That we are beings whose nature involves the continuing evolution of desire that arises from the contrast we encounter in our lives. The view is offered that we are eternal beings who exist to eternally evolve and bring more expansion to All That Is.
