Default Love You

Love implies a connection. What would you do to maintain that connection?

People kill and die for it, even destroy their own lives all for a perception.

That's the strength of the overall experience/illusion of a reality.

The more we enjoy something the more love we feel for it, but we are only ever wanting to maintain the connection. From a god/consciousness POV it's the connection that is important, but from our avatar POV it's the emotion that is important.

It depends on what you identify more with.

If you let go of all the avatar emotion and just observe, then the connection is the observation, you are observing the connection without emotion, then you can switch to avatar mode and enjoy the emotion.

Both modes are valid and valid to experience, but it's the god mode connection that is the creation.

The trick is to not get caught up in one for the sake of the other.

Existance in this reality is always a balancing act.

Love that requires maintaining the connection is a clingy kind of love and is fear/ego based in that one doesn't want to loose that love. A love that can just be in the moment and not worry about if that connection will be there next time or have faith that the connection will be there again - is a not going to make you kill for it.

Why is it a balancing act? Can it not be a overlaying? Say the ego is caught up in having emotions at the same times as being connected to spirit. Why would having feelings take away from being connected to source? Or why would being connected to source mean the ego doesn't feel anything?

God mode, avatars, Max Power, perhaps you've been in Game Mode a little too much

I think it is mostly the connection that counts. Which is pretty strange if you'd say that past doesn't exist by the way, since such connections require shared past experiences to grow.

A connection becomes more and more part of you, it becomes part of your life, you expect it to be there. And you generally want to keep things that are part of your life, well the good part anyway..)

Now, if you wouldn't "get used to", and wouldn't have things, like love, become part of your life, so basically, if you wouldn't make connections, maybe because you are living in the now and connections need the past, then would that mean you would be unable to love?
It seems that the past, whatever it is, enables us to make connections, to love, and to strengthen those feelings.

I'm not sure if what I'm saying here is what you were aiming for tho.

The thing about past memory is that the memory exists as a present now thought. Those connections based on past experiences are actually thoughts in the present moment - so there's no dependance on the acutal past to make connections and feel love.
