Talking Please Critique My Blog Content about Spirituality!

I would normally post this in the forum for computers and such, but in that event, the content of this blog doesnt belong in there as it would be entirely off topic. So I came here in the religion and beliefs forum because that fit my new blog better. Please feel free to leave comments both at the blog and in this forum post!!!

Anyways, here's the link to the blog: A Pagan's Perspective

NOTE: I know its on Blogspot, and yes I prefer Blogger to Wordpress for the time being....besides its the CONTENT, not the LOCATION, that I want critiqued...

You wrote on your blog:

When a majority of people hear the word Pagan one thing immediately comes to mind: Wiccan. That being said, theres nothing wrong with being Wiccan, as I have Wiccan friends myself.
Not for me. I'm not sure what Wiccan is. But when I hear Pagan, the first thing that comes to my mind: What people believed 2000 years ago before Christianity took hold of Europe

The grammar and spelling really needs to be fine-tuned.

Also, no. It's not my duty to educate someone about my beliefs. As long as I'm not hurting anyone, I should be tolerated.

I'm kind of a Ms Language Person when it comes to spelling, punctuation and grammar, especially with blogs. Clean it up.

I agree with you there. I'd even say as long as I'm not hurting anyone, I should do what I and other people choose to do with our lives, our money, our body, and our mind.

When I think of pagan, I think of sourdough bread. Don't ask why.

Considering you have google ads on there already, I'm assuming you want to make a bit of extra cash?

Well, you might want to use some tags or something to change the content your ads are targeted to. Or add more content, because right now they are really badly targeted. For example, if I'm on a blog about spirituality, chances are I'm not looking to buy netball equipment. Just having the ads there isn't going to work.

Also, if you want to get traffic you need to be writing a lot of good quality content that people will want to read. Something that is valuable to them. I probably couldn't be a better reader of your blog, as I fall into the exact category of people it is addressing, but I wasn't at all interested in what you were saying. It didn't really do anything for me. How will calling myself a pagan change my life for the better? What difference does it make whether I call myself a pagan or a buddhist or a christian if my beliefs remain the same? Why should I care about your life story? (don't mean to be rude, but you have to think about this stuff and give people a reason to read what you're writing)

In general blog posts should be attention grabbing and easy to read. I suggest you look up some guides on blog writing, because it really helps with the way you think about posts and put them together. Generally, internet users will give you a grace of about 3 seconds of skimming through the title and first sentence or so, and you have that long to grab their attention and get them interested in what you're saying.
