How do you feel about the Akashic records? If you have learned to access your own, what kinds of personal revelations or life changes came about (or would you like to come about)?

Hi, This thread is so old not sure if anyone will see it but maybe this post will revive it. I learned how to access the Akashic Records by learning Linda Howe's pathway prayer in her book "How to Read the Akashic Records". I have found out a lot about myself but the biggest advantage is when you go into the Records you feel a loving energy. Your vibration lifts and your perspective shifts. You can ask anything on your mind and you will get an answer from your Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones. They know you really well and they will show you things that you can't see. You can heal parts of yourself, learn about relationships, what keeps you stuck, how to increase abundance and so. But the greatest advantage is that you can shift your perspective about yourself and heal. Good Luck, Lisa Last edited by carenkh; 04-25-2010 at 01:54 PM. Reason: deleted link |

Hi Lisa, if you would like to contribute your knowledge about the Records, here's a link to an other part of the forum where a few of us are discussing this fascinating place Akashic Records - Questions and Support ChrisL started it, he also is very used to access the Records for himself and others... hope to see you there! |

Hi Lisa, I'm just wondering if I can access the Akasha just by intending to? I mean...do I really have to pay $200 just to learn a 'special' prayer that will help me get there, or can I simply ask my guides for their help going there? I guess I really should be asking my guides this I got a good feeling from that person's website by the way, and I would like to get a reading from her also, I just think it would be great to learn how to do this myself...but resent having to pay $200 to learn how to! I mean, if it is something we can all access...then it is there for us all free of charge. I guess I have a problem with someone charging that amount to teach us something we , by rights, all have the right to go to for free! I'm sure the Masters and spirit guides aren't interested in profit from our empowerment. Maybe I'm sounding cheap here... Quote:

Hi, Thanks Weena for the link. Elucidate, If you want to learn by Howe's book, it costs about 20.00. This way you can learn how to read your own Records and you won't have to pay someone. But I know most people go the way you are talking about - they access their Akashic Records through meditation and intention. What has been your experience so far? Lisa |

Elucidate - When you're accessing the Records, you're actually trying to stay aware in the pre-conscious state (that state right as you wake up, and right as you go to sleep). An easy way to start doing this is to ask a question before you go to sleep and see what kind of answer you get right as you're going to sleep or right when you wake up. Here's what I recommend trying for beginners, which I've also mentioned in the thread that Weena mentioned. You can always ask your guides for help in the form of a prayer (it helps to do it at the beginning of the process) in whatever words you want to use. Your intention creates the process - there are no special words that you have to use. Then try some chi-building exercises to focus your energy on the 6th/7th chakras (plenty of yogic type exercises out there to help you with that - conscious breathing, etc), then try a deepening technique like a trance induction (to get you into the pre-conscious state), and then do a visualization where you find yourself in some kind a temple/library where you can ask questions. Involving all of your senses in the visualization is really helpful in getting into a multi-sensory format in the Records. The hardest part for most beginning students is clearing out internal conflict so that they can accurately access and interpret the information, as well as staying focused and relaxed in the pre-conscious state at the same time. This is why it really helps to have a training of some kind because one technique does not fit everyone - it depends on you. And you can also go into a deep meditative state and ask your guides questions, or your own Oversoul - it's not the same experience as asking the Records, but you can get accurate information that way too. I know any number of people who are clairvoyant, clairaudient, talk with their spirit guides, do automatic writing, etc - if it's accurate information then it's just as great as accessing the Records! PS - We can all learn how to do construction, cooking, computer repair, car repair, etc if we want to, either from a book or a class. And I've noticed that if I want to do something well, I will learn with a professional. Just my experience. Last edited by ChrisL; 04-26-2010 at 12:03 AM. |

Weena: Maybe I read her words wrong, she said to learn to access the records for yourself and for others you would need a certain prayer...maybe there was other stuff involved that she just didn't mention? It was a course but it just gave me the impression that the content was just learning the prayer, which sounded unreasonable to me...I could be wrong about it though...will go back and read it again. Thanks Lisa Jay for that book recommendation...that sounds like a good option to me Thankyou ChrisL for your help with this also, and for being so kind as to repeat yourself about the process for beginners (I hate having to repeat myself). You've helped me to see that it is not just a simple matter of meditating, but getting into the right space before hand also. I can see how that might need some outside help from someone who knows. I don't have a problem paying to get proffessional advice that will be valuable to me...I understand that people have a right to charge for their services and time and energy, of course...it just seemed exhorbitant for what I read was involved. Again, I will re-read it to make sure, as I did get a good feeling from her. Last edited by elucidate; 04-26-2010 at 04:28 AM. |

Elucidite, You get into a relaxed state when you do this type of work. There have certainly been times when I have been in my Records and I fell asleep. If you're tired that's what will happen but that's not a bad thing. You needed the rest I have been on Linda Howe's site and I have noticed some of the classes are pretty expensive. I'm not saying what she offers isn't good. It can be great - I've just also noticed the costs are high. good luck and let us know how its going. Lisa |

But I LOVE the Gold Coast. Whenever I need to unwind I head down to the Coast and feel totally rejuvenated. The sun, the blue sky, the beach, I fully intend on living there some day. I know that Surfers is a bit of a drag with all the shirtless d-bag guys and the Paris Hilton wannabes, but Broadbeach is awesome and has everything (shopping center, casino, nice restaurants) so that you can visit the coast and totally avoid Surfers if you want. But anyways, don't mean to hijack this thread, back to the discussion on Akashic records. Ciao. | |

Weena & Elucidate - I've never been to Australia so I don't know about which places to visit! It's all new to me. I'd be happy to come down and teach. Elucidate - A couple of helpful tips. Don't do this right before going to sleep - we're already sleepy and if you're not used to staying awake in the pre-conscious state, the horse will head right for the barn - sleep. Find a time to do it when you're still feeling fresh. If you need to feel more alert, drink some green tea, but avoid sugar. Don't do this lying down - make sure you're sitting up. It really helps to do something that stimulates your chi/kundalini/energy (i.e. yogic breathing) and moves the energy into the 6th/7th chakras - or at the very least run in place for a few minutes to take in more chi. Again, most people are not used to being relaxed and awake in the pre-conscious state. Try placing one of your hands at the back of your head, where the skull meets the neck. Just rub it for a few minutes - this sends energy from your hand into the brain stem up into the chakras. Do some conscious breathing where you visualize energy moving up the chakras, before you try to access. Let us know how it's going! |
