| Hi Everyone, What kind of pleasure do you enjoy in your life? I think this is the most important question that people forget to think about in their life. Forget about the religions, the gods, the scripture, and spiritual believes for awhile and think about what kind of pleasure do really enjoy in your life. The existing of this very life, because we are addicted to pleasure. For example: I enjoy the pleasure of sensuality. I enjoy the pleasure of eating sugary food ( cake, ice cream and etc). I enjoy the pleasure of spending time with my spouse talking in bed and snuggling together. I enjoy the pleasure of practicing meditation. We have girlfriend or boyfriend because of pleasure. We get married, because of pleasure. We eat too much, because of pleasure. We do gambling, because of pleasure. We become alcoholic, because of pleasure. We bought TV, because of pleasure. All of us want pleasure. We all addicted to pleasure. We search for pleasure, and make sure, it is not the pleasure beyond your mean. Then you will end up in disappointment. Or when you let your mind to wander off and focus on the pains (the disappointment, the frustration, the rejection of insignificant others, and resentment) that when you end up deep trouble. I believe those who go to the house of worship (church, mosque, synagogue, temple), because of a promise of heavenly pleasure or paradise. This is about the matter that will happen in the future; however, anyone in here would consider looking for something that will happen in this very life. How long will you have to wait to see your promising paradise. Do you have to wait a lifetime, or you can enjoy the pleasure in this very life? and what kind of pleasure do you really enjoy? Go and do some pondering about it--search for the pleasure that worth living for , and you may find it very interesting...... Best Regards, Johnny |
