Default What is the purpose of life?

I have read several posts and I have gained some excellent insights. Thank you all for sharing the wisdom.

I have a question though - "What is the purpose of Life?" Is it to seek the Truth? Is it devote yourself to God? Is it to be eternally happy?

Please share your thoughts

Those things you mentioned -- they are all the same thing. When you realize that at the most fundamental levels of your being, you will have your answer and be that much closer to understanding the personal, and magical mystery that is life itself.

You'll know when it hits you. Every once in awhile I'll have the meaning crop up right in front of me. And it always comes in these tiny packages. It'll be a note in my sweater from my boyfriend or I'll just have this really spiritual discussion with a coworker, and I'll find myself just filled with this intese feeling of connection and love, and it almost always makes me cry. When you hear it or see it reflected back at you, that understanding, and you know that the feeling you get from it what you've been waiting for your entire life, and you're just so grateful for that moment. It never really leaves you.

The purpose of life is to live.

I think we have all been put here to go on a journey and over come challenges and after that I dont know....But I dont think we should be worried about expectations and what we should or shouldnt do. I think we do what we do individually and thats it.....We dont have to do anymore!

I think human life is about potential from start to finish. Not the potential to do but potential to be.
