| I just had a sudden revelation today, and I'm wondering if anybody else has had a similar experience or idea. What I suddenly realized was that "I" am not an object or a concept, "I" am an action. I am the very act of whatever is done where my body stands. I do not think, I am thinking itself. I do not see, I am the very action of seeing. It's really hard to explain using a language that defines I as the subject of a sentence rather than the predicate, or for that matter a language that requires a subject for a predicate. I'm still kind of confused about how all of this fits together, such as what the cause of the action of my "I" is. If anybody has any idea what I'm talking about, please respond and help me figure this out. |

| I think that we experience various levels of self-awareness or altered states of consciousness at different times. I can honestly say that I have experienced myself in a variety of ways as a being. Some of them have been scary, some not, but all very enlightening.

| I am neither enlightened nor awakened. But all I can say is not to jump to conclusions about the meaning of "I". Dive in more and more......and I believe that answer will be shown to you. |
