Hello all! Been intending to move to California for the longest time. Spoke w/an old buddy who resides there and loves it because it's close to everything. I'll go take a little jaunt along with other small quaint towns/cities, which is where I wanna be - and somewhat close to beach, no drive bys. /All I know is that I'm so ready to move even tho it's very expensive. Earthquakes? Comments qppreciated.

My friends used to attend Cal Arts so I used to visit often. You'll probably end up buying a season pass to Magic Mountain. It's a chill spot for the most part. Like you said though, it's not far from the hot spots. I think you'll love it.

It's a great command post for life, close to LA, nestled in the mountains about an hour from the beach. the commuting sucks. it's about 16 miles from me but can take 1 hour or more to get there (kinda) not over run by dirt bags yet. still a little American & red neck. i like red neck & i like American. so here's the deal! you may find that the exspense of living in the valley is worth it. i like Santa Clarita. would definately live there, but for me the $ is in the valley do it!
