Cool words on Santa Clarita, CA?

Hello all! Been intending to move to California for the longest time. Spoke w/an old buddy who resides there and loves it because it's close to everything. I'll go take a little jaunt along with other small quaint towns/cities, which is where I wanna be - and somewhat close to beach, no drive bys. /All I know is that I'm so ready to move even tho it's very expensive. Earthquakes? Comments qppreciated.

My friends used to attend Cal Arts so I used to visit often. You'll probably end up buying a season pass to Magic Mountain. It's a chill spot for the most part. Like you said though, it's not far from the hot spots. I think you'll love it.

It's a great command post for life, close to LA, nestled in the mountains about an hour from the beach. the commuting sucks. it's about 16 miles from me but can take 1 hour or more to get there (kinda)
not over run by dirt bags yet. still a little American & red neck. i like red neck & i like American.

so here's the deal! you may find that the exspense of living in the valley is worth it.
i like Santa Clarita. would definately live there, but for me the $ is in the valley

do it!

Thumbs up maybe next time - rush hour 24/7!

so I took off last sunday for santa clarita but stayed in bonita and so. ca visiting friends who said would be bumper to bumper and felt, nahhhh, no prob. felt valiant enough to drive to santa clarita but made it to del mar and turned back. not even with sherpa guide and tylenol did i want to tackle that traffic, on a weekday. had fun alone, altho did miss ex inevitably on occassion. fresh sea food (soft shelled crab, mmmm), hotel room in front of ocean, balmy nights, walk on shore/pier, mandatory tacky t-shirt purchase. i regret not making it to santa clarita tho. ocean life is way to go, now, all i need is to create the money to do so! thx for input!
