This sounds to me more of a confidence problem rather than being 'socially inadequate' sort the areas of your life out that help you build confidence, job, image, financial etc and the rest (social) will just follow.

I definitly have to work on myself. I am applying for new jobs and i hope to get one by the end of the month. i am trying to move out and go to a university in the spring. i am working on meeting new people in school but havent been too successful. i have been trying to forget about her but its been hard. i try to work on other things but my mind wanders to her. i have been trying to focous on other things but i seem to not be able to.

I have been trying to do other things to occupy mind. reading, volunteering, and studying but i keep getting distracted. i wish there was a pill i could take to make it go away for my mind to go blank...

i can't believe how identical your situation is to me.

i always dont know what to say, and by the time i do it is too late.

i do have friends but i often think, if i just vanished, it wouldn't matter to them...
