I hate everyone who isn't enlightened

okay okay not really, I do like to exaggerate human emotions at times to show how ridiculous they can be. This is a thought that has existed in my head for a while. People get SO angry at each other for not being perfect. All the hate against men, women, evil exes, Steve, ex moderators, or anyone you have held a grudge against in your life. So what, so we are not all perfect, and isn't that what being human is all about.

Rather than struggle for the words (even typing a short tends to take me quite a long time, I have poor written communication) I guess I'll just sum it by saying that old adage "we don't hate people for what they are, we hate them for what they are not."

I realize the forum is on it's last legs and this is probably not the most popular section anymore (I myself have barely looked at any threads out side of the "general" or "recreation" sections for the past couple of days) but any comments would be welcomed.

I would say: "We hate them for what we haven't got yet resolved in ourselves."

I agree with this sentiment as well. The thing is, I feel like it is an unfortunate fact that many if not most people do not have the level of self awareness or self honesty to really view it in such a way. It tends to come off more as victimhood. It's not just this person did xyz and it brings up ________ issue for myself that bears investigation, it's this person did xyz to me, or this person did xyz and it affects me in_______ way, they are a crappy person. But it is a pattern that is repeated over and over many times a day every day. It becomes a habitual way of looking at everything, it becomes the lens through which all of life is viewed.
