Why do hippies annoy me so much ?? I feel like i am surrounded by them.... just cannot stand them. I feel so paranoid.

Why don't you stop trying to label people, and look at them as individuals?

Haha my buddy would love this thread. Everytime I see him he's like ♥♥♥♥ing hipsters.

Before the labeling police step into this thread in force I do have to say there is something sort of disingenuous about them. They so uncool that they're cool, and there so much effort effort going into there being no effort going into it. ....Those crazy guys

I thought hipsters and hippies were two different groups all together?

Anyway, if they annoy you in some way it might indicate there is something about them that you don't like about yourself.

You may want to spend some time introspecting on this to discover what that aspect could be...or not?

Hippies are generally not liked. They represent freedom and non conformity, and that is something most people are not down with, as they are all about status quo and conforming.

For some strange reason people don't like peaceful, loving people who love animals and want to dress colorfully and love everyone. It must be a crime or something to love people.

Granted, there are a lot of people who are full of ♥♥♥♥ in the world and pose as hippies but are really not, but real hippies are just people who are into nature, and who don't conform to societies status quo and are therefore annoying to most people. Is that so terrible?

Just a general note for the clarity of this thread: Hipsters and hippies are not the same thing.

I get annoyed by people who make flat, generalized, negative statements about a large group of people.

For example, when someone said, "Those jews are awfully annoying"
And then some people were like, "Yeah, they annoy me too. You know why..."

And a bunch of false myths get created to support this energy of hate, and the delusional hateful people find reasonable justification for their hatred.

Get the picture.

This is an extreme example, but the same principal, the ethic applies. You aren't really annoyed by ALL HIPSTERS, or HIPPIES, just the ones you've been around apparently.
