I want to attract more relationships into my life, and i figure the best way to do that is to turn myself into somebody that is great to be around. We all generally like to be around positive people, and nobody really likes to be around negative people. So i'd like to turn myself into a beacon of positivity. Somebody who everybody enjoys the presence of. So i thought i'd swing this by this forum. I'll get the ball rolling with some qualities that i personally like. I like to be around people that have 1 or more of the following qualities: - Positive outlook on life and things in general. - Open and honest. - Treats people with respect and equality. - Humble - Open-minded - Authentic and free-flowing (i.e. not analytical, calculated, or fake) - A great set of values - Looks for the funny/comical/humorous side of things - Vivid & quirky imagination - Doesn't talk negatively about people behind their back - Loves music (big one for me) - Enjoys people, not afraid to connect - Confident, and speaks their mind - Has integrity What are some of yours? |

Aww gee....thanks for describing me *blushes* I'd like to describe the one person that I believe exudes and exemplifies the type of person I love to be around: - demonstrates unconditional love and understanding - silly in a fun way yet mature - unselfish - deep and curious about deeper meanings - natural psychologist - spontaneous and adventurous - loyal, self disciplined - has an independent nature - self confident - persistent - has a big imagination - thick skin - clarity of self understanding MOST OF ALL - Passionate about something, anything, whatever! It's that spark in their eyes that keeps me happy and wanting to be with them. |

And then people tell me I'm selective It's a great list and there are a lot of people like that. In my coachingscourses I met already a lot of such people. My problem is that they are mainly older, like early 40's and thus not really love relationship material. |

I concur..... I am an easily influenced person and I tend to mimic what I see in others. So, if I am around people with the qualities I posted I will most likely try and do the same but somehow make it my own. This doesn't mean I necessarily select people like this, I accept the good and the flaws |
