Last week I had a date with a nice girl I met via dating site and we spend already some hours on the phone. So when we would meet it real life the expectations were already quite high. The date went fine, but she talked a lot about an ex. She even told me that she was breaking the rule about not talking about an ex on the first date, but as I'm a coach I listend to her story. As those kind of things tells a lot about some one. It wasn't like the broken heart story, but more a story with a positive message. But i'm afraid I went into a caring friend mode rather that some to start a relation with. So I was wondering what tips or advice you have when some one is talking about an ex. |

If I was in this situation, I would probably ask what she learned from her previous relationship. This would help me gauge whether she's prone to making the same mistakes over and over again or not. Also, it will help me determine how much baggage she is carrying.
