Tell me about male voices that you find attractive and why you feel that way. Some examples I heard from female friends: a) Rupert Everett ("he looks soooo good. Obviously he had to be gay....And his voice is to die for...!!!!) b) Russell Crowe |

Tom Waits, Morgan Freeman, Ben from Gomez. I like 'em deep and raspy, like they smoke a pack every day and have been doing so for the past 15 years. Edit: Oooooooh and him: YouTube - CRAZY HEART - Ryan Bingham Performs The Weary Kind Last edited by beast; 03-14-2011 at 09:24 PM. |

Too many. Accents are a definite plus. Djimon Hounsou, Javier Bardem, Liam Neeson.. Bruce Lee had a great great voice and my favorite is Tom Hardy. Edit: Oops, didn't tell you why. They sound so different from what I'm used to, I guess. I like that they're deep, too. Last edited by Angelique; 03-14-2011 at 09:58 PM. |

I moved to Hong Kong for a couple of years. It was magnificent. A friend from England came out to visit and our first night out was to a HK Western restaurant. We were honoured to have the Welsh rugby team there and they stood up and sang. It was glorious. |

I am big fan of Nicolas Cage's voice. I like slow, slurry, with a hint of intelligence and snobbery. YouTube - David Letterman - Nicolas Cage and the Shrooms Last edited by jawillie; 03-14-2011 at 10:56 PM. Reason: added youtube linik

Funny, I was just thinking yesterday about how much I enjoy men's voices, LOL. I'm down with any voice, male or female, that sounds clear. I'm not into the rasp at all. I used to be biased against tenors, because my dad is a high tenor and I've always blamed him for the fact that I sound like a child and probably always will, but I've learned to appreciate my own voice a little more (thank goodness it's not as squeaky as it used to be |

I'm really interested in training my voice. I'm not sure what I want it to sound like, but I want to be louder and more resonant. Some guys can have sexy voices without it being deep, like Christopher Watkins. But yeah, my favorite guy voices.. probably Seth Mcfarlane, David Deangelo has a great one too. I have a theory that your your voice doesn't have to be awesome, it just has to be unique. I bet you could walk into a bar sounding like pee wee herman and get SOME sort of attention, although maybe not the kind you wanted! |

There are a lot of options. So far I have only done 3 weekend seminars, but the approaches were all different (one teacher was all into a kind of Qi Gong type of feeling your voice coming from your lower back, and visualising this and that; others were more matter of fact and "earthly" about it...). But you really have to practice daily to change your voice. I do it while commuting to work. It is great fun! I agree.

I find attractive the male voices that speak calm and maturity to me. And deep voices scare me... it is like the lion king's roar (only when they yell at you YouTube - Justin Bieber - Baby ft.
