Default How do you desire, from need or want?

I just finished an article on need vs want, and how to desire from strength.

I became curious about the statistics and what people really think they approach relationships and desire from, either a need or a want; abundance or scarcity. How many people make up the population, esp here on a personal development forum.

So my question, after reading that, is what place do you desire from: need or want?
