Hey everyone... As said I am new to this forum, but I thought I'd break the ice with a bang and go straight in with trying to find out your opinions on this topic that's very close to my heart. Can't wait to see peoples ideas and experiences... Muchas amor |

Hi Ok I will answer as best I can. To me love feels different towards different people, at different times of the day, in different situations. Love to me is the feeling... "I am not alone" a feeling as if I am whole in some way because there are others in my life. |

As far as I can remember, the feeling of love is best summed up for me by the feeling that... you could say anything, absolutely anything, no matter how private or silly or embarrassing or incriminating, to this one person, as easily as you would talk about the weather, and feel completely assured that they would understand and love you still further for it. Love to me is being as open as you can possibly be, and being completely unafraid about the consequences of that.

The feeling of love is filled with this strange, excellent feeling that you KNOW that somebody else than you or your parents (they have basically no choice) loves you because HE WANTS TO. It's like the butterflies in the stomach, but with a positive overtone.

It depends on where the "butterflies" are when (object of your affection) walks into the room. If they're below the belt -it's lust. If they're all warm and deep and above the belt....it's love. If they're in both places, wow!... lol!

The best way for me to describe how I feel love, is that it is a beautiful feeling of warmth that radiates from my heart and effortlessly reaches and touches all those that I feel love for. Romantic love in particular; aside from that warmth.. It feels selfless, there is no hunger for more 'take' than give because it just 'is'. It is really at ease. There is no feelings of worry for where his heart or his loyalty lies or what he is doing when I am not around. It is a strong bond and a special connection unmatched with another. It makes me feel silly and goofy and unashamed to be me, I know I am loved just as I am. It is growing as time goes by. It feels like so much at once. It is so many things. Thanks for asking this question because even though I don't have 'a love' around me at the moment, it's reminded me to feel and remember the gushy and warm way you feel in love.. and thankful that I have felt it before and will soon have it again |
