I am not sure if this is the best place for this thread. Mods, please move it if need be. I have been trying to work on many aspects of my life. But I am having issues with motivation and needing support. I have plenty of supportive people in my life. But I am starting to feel the need for people who are working on their lives and would be there with support and advice for me, while I do the same for them. This forum is very helpful (I know I haven't been here often enough). But it would work best for me to have a group of people and meet them every week or something. I feel like at this point, I am unable to make any serious changes without a lot of support and reminders. I keep losing motivation. I'd really like some ideas as to how to go about creating that. Have you created such a thing in your life, or have any ideas? Thanks a bunch in advance! P.S. I am in Toronto. |

Did you try meetup.com? Or just write on your facebook wall you want to create such a group and see what answers you might get. Also, don't forget such simple things as setting an intention |

O that's good, AlmostGodess! Thanks for suggesting meetup.com, I will look into it. Could you tell me more about setting an intention please? I am only vaguely aware. Or direct me in some direction that would explain it. Also, could you direct me to thread where meeting more PD oriented people was discussed? I might get some ideas from there. |

As to setting an intention, there are many ways to do it. I can tell about how I set my intentions, but this is not necessarily the right way. You might come up with something that suits you better. I close my eyes, get a regular and deep breathe and relax. Then I imagine going to the field of pure potentiality or God. In my head this field is an infinite ocean of golden light. Then I will tell the ocean what I want, sometimes I will scream it. Or I walk on light to the middle of this ocean and melt into it. When I emerge back, I am full of energy. I use this last part when I need strength or health. This is how I set my intentions. You can also just write it down, or keep telling yourself what you want. The idea is to do what your mind finds acceptable. As to the thread you asked about, I will try to find it and come back to you. And yes, don't forget to tell people around you what you want and to speak out about your needs. Sometimes this is the fastest way to get the results you wish for |
