Psychotic divorce

Hi my mother has psycosis and this have affected our family we love her so much but we cant handle this anymore specially my dad theybe been married for 27 years with this problem and 2 years ago he started a relationship with another woman but then she came back with my mom and he was seen by my brother and he told my mother and everything went down again, the problem is that she takes medicine in order to control her delusions but there´s always a time were she gets depressed i dont want my father to divorce and i want quality of life for me and my family specially my mother because i dont want her to stay alone when she grows.

Pleas give your opinion of what i shall do because i want my fathers back together but i need some help because my father has the idea that nothing will change my mother and she`ll be the same forever thanks

i don't think there's much you can do kid. mental health problems can seriously affect relationships. it sounds like your father is already beginning to move on emotionally, and anything you say will just add stress. the best thing i think you can do right now is be there for both your mom and dad and support whatever their decision is. not easy for you i'm afraid but it'll make things easier for your parents.
