I know some ways to find out which is to go to a doctor or not wear a condom lol. I don't have health insurance to go to a doctor and I don't wanna try to get a girl pregnant.
But is there an alternative way to test yourself, maybe an ancient traditional(lol) way to find out if I am sterile?

If you don't have money for health insurance you also don't have money to support yourself while you're slowly dying of AIDS or syphilis or any other nasty disease. (assuming you won't get tested cause that would cost money also).

The easiest way I found was having my sperm frozen and then tested for viability post-freezing, with the sample being sent via Fedex overnight in a special kit rather than having to drive several hours to a facility.

After getting your results a few days later, if you decide you don't want them to store the semen long term you're only out about $150 (check their website or call and ask about their cancellation policy to make sure this is still the case, as it's been about a year since I signed up), though keeping some in storage is relatively inexpensive and good insurance for if anything happens to you later or you opt to have kids past your mid 30s, at which point it'd be really nice to have younger sperm available, even if frozen.

I believe that program was only open to drug addicts who already had unwanted children. Hmm, mebee they should drop the already having children from the requirement. I forget how much they pay the addicts to get sterilized. Anyone here know?

I didn't get a lot of the intentions you seem to be attributing to the OP - just that he is curious to know if he's fertile or not, nothing about wanting to get out of using condoms or wanting to be sterilized. It's an understandable curiosity, given the impact that having children or not can have on one's life.

The surest way is to get your sperm tested, as described by OpenEyes (or get someone pregnant, but you've already stated you don't want to do that!) But even that won't tell you if you'll be able to reproduce for sure (about 1/3 of fertility problems are due to an imcompatibility problem, and your fertility can change during your life).

If your underlying question was, how to become sterile if I'm not naturally, then the answer is vasectomy. It's legal for all adults, although it can be tricky to find a doctor who'll agree to do it for you if you haven't had any children (not that it's any of their business, but you know how society pressures us to reproduce...) And it's not neutering... you keep your testicles.

Oh thank you finally somebody got it right. I was just curious if I am fertile, I wasn't trying to avoid a condom or whatever people thought. For somebody like me who wants to have children it concerns me because thats my worst nightmare being sterile. I was interested to see if people know a way to know if fertile without going to a laboratory or doctor. but it seems there isn't except trying a 3000 years old Persian ritual lol thank you though ....

Well you could always get a sample and look under a microscope yourself? Of course, you'd need access to a microscope... and you'd need to know how to use it But I remember doing this with my husband's sperm once, years and years ago

even if you have a microscope you have to know how to count the sperm and know if they are good swimmers. I don't think it is something an average person can do without training.

could try getting a sperm sample from someone who you know isn't sterile, and compare your sample to their's under the microscope. significantly more motile, active sperm in the positive control (the other person's sperm) would give you a good indication that you're infertile.

though it'll probably be kind of awkward getting sperm from another dude unless you're both gay xD
