Heh, that is a fun place to be I got a lot of great, and at times practical, advice here first date (reminders please...) Sandra offered some nice practical advice I would probably just regurgitate the stuff mentioned in that thread... Have fun and congrats |

Have fun. The guy is probably nervous too. Know ahead of time how far you want to go. Don't be pressured in to doing something you don't want to do. Think of it as a learning experience, if things don't workout you will be better prepared for the next date. I have went out with girls before but they where not dates. I'm starting to know the different between a date and going out as friends. have you been out with a guy before as friends? Scott |

| Quote: Aclipse: The more comfortable you are the more you can focus on having fun. This is what I do when I go on dates: I focus on really getting to know him. Whatever I'm curious about, I ask him..unless I think it'll be a turn off. Wear something that makes me feel *UBER* confident and sexy. Listen to my favorite music. I even dance a little too to get rid of some of the jitters, so that I'm relaxed for the most part. (I keep some of the jitters and turn them into an excited feeling...if that makes any sense.) Bring gum or mints. Out of respect, I aim to avoid my phone completely when I'm around him. I try to only check it when I go to the bathroom. I hate to be stuck in a situation where we're looking for things to do and striking out. So, I tend to have a back up plan of things we could do or places we can go. Nothing big just a few suggestions. | |

Thanks everyone!!! Had a great night, it was fun, suprisingly comfortable (considering my shyness) and we had some good laughs And we're planning on going out again sometime soon. He's great, I really like him! Ha ha James, loved the song |
