To me, this was preposterous, but according to a male friend, this is real. So I am curious........ Do men get aroused by cartoon characters, avatars, and pogo minis? Are you able to actually get off on them? Just askin............. |

There are full-on fetish cartoons, in fact, and cartoons that are drawn specifically for the fetish appeal. My husband has a saying. If you can think of it, somebody's got a fetish for it. (And probably at least one website about it! |

I saw an interesting documentary programme about men (and some women's) infatuation with Drawn, Animated/Sculpted Images of Physical perfection. Be it a Cave Painting, The "Venus" Statuette (which art Historians now know was made to be look out of proportion on purpose), Nude Piantings from the romantic era through to Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit), and even Pneumatic Video Game Characters such as Laral Croft (Tomb Raider) or any Female Character in modern Fighting Games. These unreleastic images are rarely/nigh on impossible; found in real life women no matter how much digital airbrushing. That is why Perfectly Symetrical, Digital Beauty is so popular in Mainstream Medium (Video Games) and X-Rated Sub Culture (Hentai-Pornographic Manga Cartoons). |

I'm going to simplify it a little. Men like to look at girls. "Cartoon" girls, often look like girls, with their most attractive physical/sexual features enhanced, which can make them even more fun to look at. You're welcome. |

So in light of honesty, I feel compelled to reign in here. Yes men do get turned on by cartoon porn, many many men. Also, many women do as well. Me being one of them. I own several of these cartoons and enjoy watching them. The women are drawn absolutly with a man in mind, or a woman for that matter without sexual orientation being an issue. The men also have the perfect bodies like the women, and their neither regions are the perfect look. If you have ever watched one you would notice that unlike traditional porn, there are no inadaquices (sp?) and since its cartoon, anything can happen. So if you are a sexually open person, watching something like this may open up fantasies that turn you on but that you know you would never ever do in real life. That being said, I have seen some pretty hard cartoon porn, which is funny, but not a turn on. You can use your imagination on that one. I think men would get turned on just thinking that the neighbors next door are have sex. So anything visual or audio is just icing on the cake. (eww, no pun intended, sorry.) I think whatever turns you on, go with it. Dont judge other people for their sexual turn ons or offs. |

When I was in my mid teens I never initially got to look at "proper" porn mags let alone grainy VHS videos my school friends were giggling about as I had no older brothers, nor did my Dad have a "secret stash" (shame on him!). However I discovered "Manga/Anime" videos and noticed that many had Erotic/Sex Scenes in them. One series I'd reccommend (which has a pervy reputation) is UROTSUKIDOJI (AKA Legend of the Overfiend) which uses Japanese Demon Mythology to look at the darker aspects of Love, Lust, Rape, Sexual Violence, Death and Re-Birth. What sets this one aisde from standard Anime Erotica is the Characters are drawn/animated in a more "serious manner" which gives it a film like quality. What was shocking was my sister and her friends would always take this Video and watch it over and over. If I ever bought sequels or titles made by the same animator they'd ask to watch them. I have since learnt that women do have these dark sexual fantasies (that they may not neccessairly want to re-enact in real life) but can be found in works like Nancy Fridays my secret garden or any other book. |

This is a hot cartoon. But let us not forget that in real life women should look like cartoons, so female readers here, do not try to be like a cartoon. Cartoons are deformations of reality. ![]() ![]() Last edited by ar81; 12-01-2009 at 06:21 AM. |

for the most part I don't like porn - toon porn being one of only two exceptions, so add me to the list of girls who like toon porn Also because toon porn can explore taboo subjects without raising moral issues about its production. It is pure fantasy untainted by having to be made 'real'. |

Personally, no, I have never gotten aroused by a cartoon. Then again, I've never watched cartoon pornography, so it is definitely possible that it could happen for me. I do know that there is a whole world of cartoon pornography, so that should answer your question that many, many people enjoy and get aroused by cartoon characters.

I quite like "O Wicked Wanda", the cartoon that used to run in Penthouse magazine (I used to sneak looks at my father's collection; wasn't impressed by the photos of naked ladies, but I loved the cartoons). Wanda was very dom and sassy and got into some interesting situations. The illustration is also quite over the top. I've never been attracted to women, but I'd go sub for Wicked Wanda any day. |
