"Some arm candy I picked up somewhere"

"My boyfriend who doesn't like being called my boyfriend"

Honestly, just introduce him as "Mr. Snuggle-Wuggles" until he realizes that "boyfriend" was pretty good after all. It's all relative!

My partner is generally accepted as a term suggesting a longer term/more mature relationship, in Australia it is anyways. It has caused some confusion when I've used it overseas.

Default hi

I thought nowadays it was 'significant other'
Speaking as a man I dont see what his problem is and personally in the same situation I would be perfectly happy just to be introduced by my name. Do we need boxes and titles. Is he your anything is the question? Tell him to marry you and then there's no problem lol.

Ha! No way, lol. It took me a couple years of being married to get comfortable saying "my husband"........and I dunno it's a box I wanna put anyone in again.

And yeah, he's definitely my something. I'll go with whoever said sex toy.

I think that was me. I looked at the thread and saw that I suggested Sex slave. I'm glad we helped with this issue.
