OK girls,

Since you don't really get the chance to cast your votes in the other thread (being a guys only thread) I decided to make a thread where you can express your opinions..

So do you prefer blonde haired guys or dark haired guys? (don't think you can get brunette guys)

and does it really matter to you? the same way it matters to guys?

Dark haired for sure!!

Although 75% of my exboyfriends were blond so I guess it doesn´t really matter in the end... but if you are talking about looking alone, dark haired is the way to get my attention!

Whether or not a man has a certain colour hair is absolutely irrelevant. In my opinion, the more "contruction" one does on one's appearance (hair color, plastic surgery, makeup, whatever) the uglier one often (not always) becomes. Less is more.

My exes have had brown hair, blond hair, red hair and no hair. Evidently hair color doesn't have much importance for me. On paper, I find brown hair to be more attractive though.

intially, in my youth...the more hair, dark, the better.

but then later i had an incredible attraction with a blonde blue eyed young man.

now i have the best of both: dark hair and blue eyes...always a sexy combo to me.

but in reality we never know what will attract us....

( they do need chest hair, however

)

Ya I agree. I seem to prefer dark hair(brown eyes) but it really doesn't matter. True attraction will come from a whole other source once you know a person. Physical features can just get you motivated to speak.

My last boyfriend was a total shock on the attraction thing. He was not my typical though he did have dark hair(kept very short) and brown eyes of course.

Blonde doesn't appeal to me at all - probably cause I'm very fair - the opposite thing I guess.

attraction, as others have said, is more than just looks or a preferred type.
that said, my 'type' is dark haired men... light eyes would be a big plus. i don't want to limit myself to men with only dark hair, but if we're talking hypotheticals then dark haired guys are usually more attractive to me.

I prefer dark hair but I married a blonde.

5 oclock shadow means, when mens beard stubble is just coming in...

When I was younger I loved the blonde blue eyed look.. then I liked darker haired guys...

Im married to a dark haired, olive skinned, hazel eyed man...... with the best eye lashes!

Strictly from an attraction standpoint, dark hair normally wins. However, I have been attracted at various times through the years to the fairer haired. Blondes--California surfers....yum! And, also red heads. I find that red-haired males, typically, have very strong "Nordic" type bods...also very appealing. HOWEVER, when it comes right down to it, it's the man's spirit, personality and sense of humor that wins me over, not their hair. Heck, even bald is okay by me if they have the above going for them!

Tall, dark haired and handsome with light eyes always gets me, but if they are not kind hearted and confident the looks don't mean anything...

And long hair. Any color, any gender. I love long hair. Although I think I look better with short hair, I am currently growing it out for my dear husband.
