Hosting a show

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share with everyone that after reading steves post on improving public speaking skills, I just made a descision to do it and in a few days after that i heard that our college festival will be started in a few days(umm.. Intention - Manifestation) ,its called "Rhythym" , i went for the auditions and presented myself with the most confidence I can ,and yes i am selected for hosting(anchoring) the entire festival out of 50 others (including many pro's who had done hosting earlier). I want to thanks steve for his inspiring, indepth posts and all forum contributors here ,who have someway boosted my confidence. I would surely report how it goes.And by the way if someone has some tips for being the best on stage ,its really appreciated . Thanks

Good stuff, I'm glad you got what you wanted.

From the sounds of things you're not going to need much advice on such a matter. You were picked out of a selection of 50 people and the majority of them probably had some talent. Just treat the whole experience as a dream and the people around you as an extension of your dream and you should be fine. Remain confident like you are and enjoy the experience.

And while we're on the subject I'd just like to thank Steve for inspiring me to start writing. I'm only 17 years old and I have plenty of time to improve my skill and knowledge so expect great thing's from me in the future (If I may be so optimistic to say so myself)
