All of the goals I have set to date in my life were predominantly in the area of finances or social contribution. i.e. Getting the former through giving the latter. Well I am going to set a new goal and I am blogging my progress towards it. I felt it was time I set a slightly crazy goal. The new goal is to get a date with a Japanese swimwear model! I fully understand this is something I cannot achieve on my own, so if anyone is bored and wants to see the impossible made possible feel free to give me a hand/advice/hate mail/whatever, in any way shape or form via the site. If I can pull this off, then anything must possible. Cheers and thanks in advance! Dan. |

Cheers, Well, I hope her current boyfriend is not a yakuza...in that case, you are toast. I'm not entirely sure about your goal here - you're not trying to date just any model, but a specific one. So you'll tell Angelina Jolie "sorry, nothing personal, but I can't date you, I'll only accept Mama-Chan." Well, the best of luck, and hope you appear to her as a cute fan, and not as a crazed stalker. |

Yes, I am picking a specific one for a specific reason. If I pick 'just a model' then I actually think it would decrease my chances, as I am not focussed on a specific goal but a generality. It would be akin to saying 'I want to start a business' but not specifying what type. I would literally have no idea where to start then. I hope the same about the Yakuza boyfriend. But it should be ok as I don't want an involved date, I would settle for an interview over a meal that I could call a date. As for the cute fan part... Makes me sound like a puppy following her around hoping for an autograph. |

Hi Dani- It all sweet and Im quite sure, if you are really serious about it- it can happen. But -Have you actually asked her out? that should be your starting point. You can pretend you're a journalist. My friend did that when he decided he wanted to meet his favorite living painter. He finally met him and he drew him (my friend drew the painter!)!

A male fan has a remote crush on the female celebrity and contacts her several times, initially unsuccessful. He appears courteous, handsome and devoted. She even agrees to go on a date with her, but tells him that she's loyal to her husband. Well, after she gets separated with her husband, she remembers the man, calls him, and... need I say more? -SS (Mood 2) Last edited by smallstar; 01-29-2007 at 07:19 AM. Sounds like a worthwhile goal you ahev set for yourself with great potential rewards. I wish you the best of luck, personally I think you'll pull it off if you really want it. I wrote an article recently on my site on how to pick up women, you might want to check it out, maybe get a few ideas you hadn't previously thought of. The link is below. John |
