Default talking to strangers

there are instances where I want to talk to a stranger.
sometimes it is because they appear interesting.
sometimes it is because they are an attractive member of the opposite sex.

but the problem is that I've been taught not to talk to strangers.
Steve talks about how Erin is so good at connecting to people in his article, soulful relationships.

now let me ask, lets suppose there is a stranger sitting at a computer lounge that looks like a friend.
is it, in reality strange to chat this person up while they are busy, or is this just a limiting belief because I was taught not to talk to strangers?

You don't need our or anyone elses permission to talk to strangers.

Just go talk. The time you spent asking this, you could have made a few friends and went out on a few dates.

Don't worry and go for it. You'll meet some interesting people this way.

I'm not looking for permission, i'm checking to see if my paradigm is ...effective. and not everyone could just go talk to strangers...some people are very conditioned not to.

but thank you, you have pointed me in the right direction.
