Angry Problems with my father

HI

I always discuss with my father, specially when he toldme something and I donīt believe this is true, this is because I almost always realice that the things he told me aare not true or not true all the time , now Im getting used to listen to my dad and spect something without any Foundations and he always get angry at me when I discuss.

For example yesterday he told me that wolfram alfa was the best web search engine ever and I wrote 2 things I wanted to search and nothing appeared, then I searched on google and showed me the things I needed, so maybe this was good for some thing but we cant be shure if this is the BEST searcher. and we argue as usual, he told me why you hate me why you always argue with me for everything, etc.. now at lunch I am with a cold and I didnt could taste the food and he told me after 4 bites I will taste it and I say no its not,(because I already tried more than that , and what is the point of talk for talking) and then the discussion started and I had to stand up of the dinning room.

Now Im sick of this and I donīt know what else to do, everyday my love for my dad is consuming, sometimes I justt want to leave my house and keep my studies in australia or something.
Should I start avoiding care about him, like he was a little boy , like anything he sais take it lightly. Any advise?

country aspects: In my country almost everyone lives with their parents at the age al least 25, we dont have too many jobs for young people and the wage is not enough to study and have a house, and donīt even think about eating

Do you think he is intentionally being strong headed about things even when he knows he is wrong, or do you think he is just ignorant? Parents can be naive about a lot of things. My dad always carries the attitude that he is right about everything for some reason; he is wrong all the time, but he just doesn't acknowledge it. Like I will watch a gameshow on TV and he will "guarantee" that he "knows" about 5 different questions. He can be wrong 4 times in a row, but if he is right the 5th time he'll still say "See! I told you I knew it!!"

Everyone wants to be right. When my dad is strong headed I just accept it and let him have glory in his delusion. Usually it doesn't directly affect me.

Learn how to disagree agreeably. You don't need to tell him you disagree with him. Just listen to him, respect him and keep your opinions to yourself - and your relationship will improve.
