Help needed

Some of you may know that I run a site on developing better relationships and getting better with women but in a unique way and I have run into a problem. I'm attempting to better monetize my site but not coming up with any good ideas.

I tried google ads but got rid of it quickly because all the ads were dating sites, which I'm against using.

The product I'm creating will take close to a year to create (I'm very meticulous) so I thought referring other products would be a good path to take. Major products only yield 4-6% on amazon (which I have).

The other alternative is to become an affiliate to PUA (pick up artist) products but part of what I do is reform guys who got into that community. I'm still reviewing the communities products hoping that one will be good enough for my site but so far no luck.

any ideas?

What about just plain old men's products? I'm sure there has to be a general men's product line (like sport stuff, clothes). Might also want to look at adding women's products too. Looked at your site, you had at least one or two comments from each idea from women. I thought your ideas were really cool and your funny too.

You can probably find some stuff to promote from Commission Junction, or ClickBank that align with your values, and will pay much better than Amazon.

Maybe some reviews of those products will do well for you.

Why are PUA ads ok but general dating sites bad? I am a bit confused on your criteria. I find the PUA stuff a bit offensive sometimes.

Isn't there some way in google ads to exclude keywords? Can you exclude "dating" for example?

If you have enough traffic, you can sell banner space directly. Have you considered contacting related merchants to see if they might be interested?

You could also do an online course or membership site.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I was never a big fan of ebook downloads but I found a site where for 8 bucks they will make and ship a hard/soft copy of a book you write.

With the google ads, I was blocking ads left and right-it become too much hassle. I could have kept them up but like Steve they don't really resonate with me.

Make something special. Create a course that people can join for free. Then after the course, offer them a premium course. 1 podcast per week, 1 or 2 videos and 2 articles per week, plus a bi-weekly live chat with you! Just for 5 dollars per week


You need to work on your material first, but I definitely think it's possible. Think about how Neil Strauss used the Stylelife challenge to generate lots of attention (and a community!) to market his new product (forgot which it was... annihilation method maybe?).
