Husband and I have a date tonight, and then some "alone" time afterwards. This is the first time since daughter #2 was born to have some dedicated time for intimacy with no interruptions. I'm looking for reccomendations for background music for sex. Found an article on askmen.com that says electronic/tribal/trance is good. Something with good energy and no vocals. Anyone got any favorite songs or albums? By the way, if you come to this thread later, keep posting suggestions. Hopefully we'll have another date before 10 months pass... And no, I will not be sharing results. |

I love the trance and new age channels at Digitally Imported Internet Radio. The first is great for animal lust, while the second is nice for long, slow massages. I bought a subscription there ($60/year), so all the channels are high quality and commercial free.

Lauxa: Sounds to like you are in the mood for love. Tonite is the nite huh. we let me see???? I can remember some nice nites listening to Teddy Pendegrass, the master of smooth. Some nice slow jazz works too but the main thing is to have your minds on eachother and not what is going on at home. And also be careful not bring in daughter #3 |

Becoming X by the Sneaker Pimps has always been my favourite. More suited to long, slow, sensual sex. Start off with Becoming X then move onto something more energetic (mind you, don't take my advice, I usually forget there's music playing pretty quickly |

I am probably more tickled than I should be to see that you listen to Trance, Steve. Trance music has been a long time ally in conscious evolution for me. I remember giving speeches to my friends about living at the speed of thought, and trance/psytrance being a tool to get into that state. I admit at the time music/pot was the combination exciting such a state, but a few years later and few years wiser, I now use exercise/music to elicit higher, more stable states. Long live electronic!! --Doo sss Doo sss Doo sss Doo sss-- |

to stay on topic, trance music sets a nice pace if you want to have a wild night. Pop music can be good too. I'd recommend Justin Timberlake - Future Sex Love Sounds. The title says it all :] |

Hmm...if you are into Neo-Soul or R&B, you are asking the right person! My entire CD collection is geared towards making babies! Neo Soul: Anything by Maxwell, or D'Angelo...very mellow and seductive Instrumental: Boney James, Sex Lounge (hehehe) R&B: Anything by 112, Carl Thomas (deeper more old school), some songs by Jagged Edge, some by Donell Jones, the Jamie Foxx album is good too, some of the old R Kelly stuff is great. I'd be interested in more suggestions from anyone, always ready to expand my collection! |
