I'm sorry for your loss, but I would avoid feeling too bad about this. There are many other possibilities to consider than that she was just your friend because she was dating your brother. If they broke up recently it could be that she's trying to avoid contact with you because she wants to avoid contact with your brother, and once she moves on a little bit she'll settle back down into acting like she used to around you.

Probably she feels ashamed that she split up with your brother therefore she avoids being with you. There is nothing wrong with her, she just does not feel comfortable with this situation. You can call her/approach her and explain that you do not feel any anger towards her for what she has done to your brother. |
