We seem to be talking past one another, assigning different meanings to the same words.

I suspect we simply have different value systems.

I think that's exactly what it is.

There is some good info in that article. Also, for the women who read it and want to get better with men, they can take Paul's methods and simply switch it for them.

For instance, they can use his number method to approach men they like and get their numbers. It works both ways.
Because his method is manipulative and dishonest- that is why its negative.
He feels he had to trick the girls. like how he doesnt let her taste his non alcholic drink.
Or Im sure he would never tell her he sent 20 girls the same txt message. Because than she would proably choose not to see him.
So he constantlt chooses to hide all kinds of facts from her so that she wont see the whole picture. That, my friend, is called manipulation.

While he could just tell her the truth.
Girls want to have casual sex too you know. Just not with a guy whose general vibe is dishonesty.

Default Tiger Woods

Look at Tiger Woods. The ultimate Alpha, got all the women he could handle, without all the manipulation games. Money and fame, bada bing, bada boom.

But it seems like ultimately, he is willing to give up that lifestyle to focus on his wife and kids, which is what really (it seems) gives deep down happiness. The two lifestyles are mutually exclusive, unless you have a really open minded wife, open minded sponsers, and an open minded PGA Tour.

That being said, I think, given a choice, Tiger would have the family life, and the harem of women on the side, and be very very happy.

whose to say he didn't manipulate or lie to these women ?
I've seen more than one of his mistresses crying into the camera about the fact that he told them he loved them and that they had fallen in love with him as well. Lying to these girls about he loved them most likely manipulated them into seeing him on multiple occasions (amongst other factors like his obvious fame and money)

Thanks to the OP for the link. Now I'm tempted to move to New York. Of course when he says "midway through college (up to that point I had girlfriends, like everyone else..)" I feel a bit discouraged since I never had a girlfriend in college.

But that's OK. Neither the author nor whom he calls "everyone else" had to deal with as much emotional baggage as some of us. It's not too late for me, and others who have been burdened

Many men would like that, according to surveys. I can't remember the exact percentage but it is relatively high. But still, we can't ever make accurate sweeping generalizations about men or women in general. Some PUAs believe that ALL men want multiple women and to say otherwise is out of fear, or low self-esteem, or just plain dishonesty with ourselves. This is bulls**t, of course. Although we're all human, people have a wide variety of desires in their life. This is obvious.

Totally understandable. I felt the same way most of my life.
You keep misinterpreting what he said. He said he LIKES the way he was raised. He's not allowed to agree with the way he was raised, but instead his opinion must be reduced to a fear of what society may think of him?

I have gay male friends who've told me they hate gay men because they're "so shallow" and they all just want to sleep around. And those are the kind of people I hang out with, although I have never said that having sex with many partners is shallow... it's just not a concern of mine. But your own friend circle shapes the way you think about ALL MEN (since you seem convinced all men are the same) as much as someone else's upbringing shapes their own decisions. It's the law of attraction.. you attract to yourself people who are like you, and then that's all you can see. I surround myself with activists who care passionately about the world... sometimes I forget that most of the world still doesn't really care.
